The fundraising opportunities to help us reach our $15 million capital campaign goal have been coming fast and furious these last few weeks—and thanks to support from music lovers like you, they’re pushing us closer to the finish line every day.

On Friday, February 19, Kevin Cole celebrated his birthday with “Shake It Out,” a dance party at Neumos featuring live music from Wimps, Grace Love and the True Loves, and Pillar Point, plus DJ sets by the Emerald City Soul Club and Moby. Between the party and a pre-show VIP reception at Rachel’s Ginger Beer, the KEXP Community raised $18,000 at “Shake It Off.” Thank you!

Other recent New Home fundraising activities included the 2016 Vive Latino flyaway contest, a party in the as-yet-unfinished Gathering Space for prospective Superconductors (featuring a short set by Telekinesis), and a sold-out performance by José González in the new Live Room last Friday night.

Between these events, campaigns, and other gifts, nearly $14.2 million has now been committed to help build KEXP’s New Home, bringing us to 95 percent of our $15M fundraising goal. Thank you for your continued support.
